Research Computing Scientist
Angela Boakye Danquah is a Computational Research Scientist within the Data Analytics Center (DAC). The DAC partners with UVA researchers across disciplines to support data management, analysis, and computational needs. Angela concentrates on machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), and data engineering, with expertise spanning deep learning, large-scale data infrastructure, and cloud-based system design. She has a demonstrated track record building production-grade AI/ML pipelines, designing secure and compliant cloud platforms on AWS, and developing distributed data systems on high-performance computing infrastructure. Her work supports research across a range of domains including medicine, computational social science, and the life sciences. Angela holds a Master of Science in Data Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and Economics, both from the University of Virginia.
